The Rapid Detect 12 Panel Drug Test Cup is a one-step immunoassay device, that uses the principle of competitive binding. It simplifies urine collection and maintains fast and reliable test results. This drug test cup offers a clean and affordable approach to onsite urine drug testing and drugs of abuse detection. The device is equally comfortable to obtain a urine specimen for both males and females due to the round opening at the top of the cup.

The Rapid Detect cup boasts an accuracy of up to 99%. Drug cut-off levels are set according to SAMHSA standards. Rapid test results for a wide range of available illicit drugs can be selected. This 12 panel test displays strong negative line intensity and results are easy to distinguish, negative or positive. Test operation is simple to perform being guided by easy-to-read instructions as well as a diagram provided within the package insert.

A product called UrinAssist can also be purchased for carefree transport of urine to the cup eliminating spillage & contamination of hands, clothing, container & surroundings.

How to Use the Control Region (C)
Control Line (C)A procedural control is included in the test. A colored line appearing in the control line region (C) is considered an internal procedural control. It confirms sufficient specimen volume, adequate membrane wicking, and correct procedural technique. The control will communicate to you whether the device is working properly or not. Once the urine specimen is added to the cup you will want to verify if there is a line in the control region (C).

Drug Test Report Forms can be downloaded or purchased via our website for documentation.

How to Store Test Cups?
Store the sealed pouch either at room temperature or refrigerated (2-30C). The device is stable through the expiration date printed on the sealed pouch. The test device must remain in the sealed pouch until use. Keep away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat. Do not freeze. Do not use the test devices beyond the expiration date.

When Should I Collect Urine for the Test?
The minimum time is 2-7 hours, so you may collect urine samples 2-7 hours after suspected drug use.

This product was very easy to use (i.e., to administer and to read the results).  I bought a case to to try as an alternative to an 8-panel iCup.  This one tests for a wider range of substances, but fewer adulterants.  I think it will be easier for my staff to use.  The only challenge is that it is not easy to photocopy the results so that they can be reviewed again later.
