The NOBLE ToxCup is a Clia Waived test that detects 14 panels for the possible use of Amphetamine (AMP), Barbiturates (BAR), Buprenorphine (BUPG), Benzodiazepines (BZO), Cocaine (COC), Ecstasy (MDMA), Methadone (MTD), Opiates (OPI), Oxycodone (OXY), Phencyclidine (PCP), Propoxyphene (PPX), Tricyclic Antidepressants (TCA), and Marijuana (THC). The NOBLE ToxCup CLIA Waived Test 14 panel is for healthcare professionals including professionals at point of care sites. For in-vitro diagnostic use only.

NOBLE ToxCup is used to obtain a visual, qualitative result of drugs of abuse, and is intended for professional use only. A certificate of waiver is needed for your laboratory in order to run this test. Laboratories with a certificate of waiver must follow the manufacturer's instructions for performing the test or the test is considered high complexity and is no longer CLIA waived.

IF YOU GET A NEGATIVE RESULT, this means the sample did not contain the drug being tested for. No further testing is required. However, it is possible to get a negative result even though the person took drugs. Some reasons why this might happen are:

  • the urine sample was collected at the wrong time, It was collected before the drug got into the urine or after it was no longer in the urine
  • the person took a drug other than the one tested for in this test. E.g. they might have taken LSD when this test is for drugs of abuse other than LSD.

IF YOU GET A PRELIMINARY POSITIVE RESULT, result, this means the sample may contain one or more of the drugs being tested for, and you should take the second step in the process. Send the urine to our laboratory for additional testing. However, it is possible to get a "preliminary positive" when the person did not take the drugs.

  • Things such as diet pills, inhalers, and cough syrup can cause a preliminary positive result.

A consumer study was conducted to determine the performance of the device when used by untrained, lay persons following only the instructions in the product labeling. A total of 153 participants read a total of 5460 assays during the study and 5228 of those 5460 assays (95.8%) was interpreted correctly. Each assay was tested by these participants using spiked solutions targeted to 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 125%, 150%, and 175% of the assay cutoff level.

I love how accurate these tests are compared to other products we've used!  I also appreciate the CLIA Waived tests that test for everything we need, including suboxone!  Delivery is also fairly quick!
