The iScreen instant drug test is an on-site urine screening device that offers a convenient dipping method simply by
removing the end cap and inserting the detection device into the sample provided inside a clean sterilized collection cup. Once the 12 panel drug test
is inserted and testing begins, the results will be visibly noticeable after a few minutes. Should no drugs be found by the 12 panel dip card, the
corresponding panel will develop a red line below the control line. To serve as a procedural control, a colored line will always appear at the control line
region of the drug test, indicating that proper volume of specimen has been added and membrane wicking has occurred.
This particular instant drug test can detect up to twelve different commonly used drugs. The iScreen 12 panel drug test is an immunoassay based on the principle of competitive binding.
The configurations previously mentioned above only go to prove this instant drug test can be defined as a rapid, one step screening test for the simultaneous, qualitative detection of multiple drugs and drug
metabolites in human urine. The iScreen drug test results are detected by the presence or absence of specific drugs in the urine.
Drugs which may be present in the specimen being tested by the 12 panel dip drug test compete against their respective drug
conjugate for binding sites on their specific antibody. During the instant drug test procedure, a urine specimen will migrate upward by capillary action. If a drug
is present within the urine specimen below its cut-off concentration, it will not saturate the binding sites of its specific antibody. The antibody
will then react with the drug-protein conjugate and a visible colored line will show up in the urine test line region of the specifically labeled result strip of the 12 panel drug test.
